RWA is directly involved in breeding activities via Saatzucht Gleisdorf for maize, pea, soybean and oil pumpkin. The best varieties from the Saatzucht Gleisdorf breeding program are commercialized under the G-Seed brand.

Long time cooperation with many international breeders allows RWA to propose a complete field crops portfolio under the G-Seed brand.

All varieties are intensively tested by RWA before being labelled with the G-Seed brand. Each year, our dedicated development team of eight people is observing and assessing the varieties’ performance. Our trial network of over 50,000 microplots across Europe is covering the continent’s different climate conditions, which paves the way for a strict selection from the best adapted varieties and an exact market positioning.
